Digital painting is on the cutting edge of fine art and illustration these days. These paintings were done in Photoshop using a drawing tablet and a desktop computer. I usually begin with a pencil sketch which is scanned and brought into Photoshop. I build it up in monochrome first and then added colour in later using different layers.
Fully rendered digital illustration starts at $1000 and turn around time is about a week.
